Mr. Andrew Austin, was the 4th child born to Mr. Matthew Austin and Mrs. Jessie Ruth Carter Austin February 28, 1959 In Daingerfield, Texas. He passed away peacefully on Sunday May 26 in his home surrounded by his family and friends. His father Mathew Austin, mother Jessie Austin an grandparents preceded him in death.
Andrew (Andy) matriculated through Daingerfield Independent School District, graduating from Daingerfield High School with honors and well known for his sports ability. Andrew (Andy) attended University of Arkansas in Monticello, and completed his education at Bishop College, Dallas, Texas. He was a licensed contractor, who touched the lives of many remodeling homes, Plumbing, and whatever was needed to help others. Andrew also worked for numerous Pipe Companies, Operating Equipment's.
Andrew (Andy) Austin accepted Christ at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor D. A. Hill many years ago and was a very faithful member, who later became a Deacon for Christ. Every Sunday and on Occasions he would drive the van for the church, and was very helpful in various areas of the ministry. He loved his church and pastor, whatever his hands found to do he did it.
Deacon Andrew (Andy) Austin leaves to cherish his precious memories: wife of 37 years, Jacqueline Arthur Austin, one daughter, Quiesha (Durke) Williams of Arlington, Texas, two nieces he raised as daughters, Montrevia and Breanna Durham, three granddaughters, Takya Alexander, Brooklyn Williams, and Dysheria Taylor and one Grandson, Austin Williams, two sisters, Mary Alice Jones of Daingerfield, TXand Margaret Austin of Lancaster, TX.Four brothers, Samuel (Darlene) Austinand James Austin both of Daingerfield, TX, Mark (Robbie) Austin of Lancaster, TX, Matthew Austin of Gilmer, TX,. A host of Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
