Bennie Charles Stanley, 76, of Omaha, Texas, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Titus Regional Medical Center in Mount Pleasant, TX. Bennie was born in 1943 in Dublin, TX. At age 19, he joined the United States Air Force. He served our beloved country from June, 1962-June, 1966, and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. In 1966, he was honorably discharged from active duty due to an electrical accident which claimed two of his limbs. To those who knew him, he was truly an inspiration. He was one to face life's many challenges head-on, with a positive determination and a "never give up" attitude. By all who crossed his path in life, he is best remembered for his positive, outgoing, friendly demeanor and for his wit and humor.
