Betty Jean Brown passed away at the age of 76. She was born on February 5, 1945 in La Grange, Texas to Herbert and Mamie Mitchell. She departed this life suddenly on December 25, 2021 in Abilene, Texas. She graduated from Brownwood High School in 1963. She worked as a Child Care Provider for many years. She was with her mate Sylvester Erskin for 31years. Mr. Erskin preceded her in death. Betty was a servant at heart that loved the Lord, loved her family, enjoyed shopping, watching movies, eating at different restaurants and playing with her (pets) Sparky and Shiloh. She had two children that she loved dearly, son, Nicky Donnell Brown and daughter, Debbie Denese Brown Glenn, Her son preceded her in death. She always encouraged her children to get an education and to work hard. She will be missed by many who loved her and her legacy will be carried on throughout the years to come.
