Cornelius James Watson was born July 6,1962 to Isabel George in Charleston, South Carolina. He grew up there and graduated from North Charleston high school. After graduating from high school, he joined the army in 1981 and served until 1995. After separating from the army he moved frm Killeen to Dallas, and began working for the State Jail. He began working for the VA Hospital from 2008 until his death.
Mr. Watson loved cooking, helping people and going to his trailer in Mt. Pleasant.
Mr. Watson was preceded in death by his mother, Isabel.
He is survived by his wife Vickie Bryson Watson, his 4 sons, Jamorian, JaKale Watson ( Forney), Cornelius Chilsom Watson (C.J.) (Plano), and Antoine Chilsom (Dallas), and 1 daughter, Krystal Watson (Paramount, California). 3 Grandchildren, Dai'Jah Puryear, Sa'Nya Puryear, and Ray'Von Hunter. He is also survived by his sisters, Vanessa Watson (Stone Mountain, Ga), Pamela Watson (Pyeongchang, South Korea), Missouri Smith (Akron. Ohio), and brothers, Joseph Watson (South Carolina), and Eric Simoneaux (Houston,Texas). Mother-in-law, Pearlie Bryson (Mt.Pleasant), sister and brother-in-laws, Cathy Hall (Ronald), Carolyn Bryson, Tonya Turner (Christopher Craddock), Robert Miller (Tammy), and Bobby Crowder, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and the people he touched through out his life (Staff at the VA hospital).
