Cynthia Marie Willis – Bell was born February 28, 1958, in Dallas, Texas as the fourth child and only girl of the late Dr. George and Mrs. Ada Willis. She attended the Dallas Independent School District and graduated from Skyline High School in 1976. Upon graduation, she attended East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education.
She was employed with Dallas Independent School District for 31 years, as a teacher at Lakewood Elementary. After retirement she worked as a Customer Relations Specialist for the Dallas Cowboys organization. As the only daughter she became the primary caretake of her parents until their demise.
Cynthia was a very faithful and devoted church member. She accepted Christ at an early age at Saint Paul A.M.E. Church in Dallas, Texas where she served until death. Whenever Cynthia was in Quitman, she would often worship with the Muddy Creek Baptist Church.
Cynthia departed this life on Monday, December 2, 2024, at the age of 66. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Mattie and Isiah Willis, maternal grandparents Bush and Historia Marie Evans, parents Dr. George and Mrs. Ada Willis; her son Thearin Bell; two nephews Kevin Willis, Ahmad Willis and a sister in love Sheila Willis.
Those that remain to cherish her memory is her: Son: Quentin Bell (Jessica) Dallas, Texas: 3 brothers Oliver Willis and Herbert Willis (Rebecca) of Quitman, Texas and Alvin Willis of Arlington, Texas and a host of nieces and nephews.
