De'Shaye Tennison-Nwaelu was born on March 11, 1970, in Dallas Texas, the fourth of four children. She graduated from H. Grady Spruce Class of 1989. She was employed by The Boeing Company for 17 years. De'Shaye is preceded in death by her husband Cy Nwaelu and her dear friend Terry Johnson. She leaves to cherish her memories: mother, Joe Nell Tennison; father, Carl Tennison; three brothers, Dwight Tennison, Daron Skinner, and Darrye Skinner; three nephews, Da'Shambrae Skinner (Jasmine), Darrion Skinner (Brianna), Christian Skinner; two nieces, De'Shavoia Skinner, Maya Skinner; a host of loving aunts and uncles; a special cousin Lakia Mosby (Alvin); and brother in Christ Earl Staton.
