On June 25, 1925 a candle was lit for Eddie Mae Robinson as she was presented to Mr. Eddie and Ms. Johnnie Mae Robinson. This candle would burn bright for 95 great years. From a child until the age of 16, Eddie Mae was raised by her beloved grandmother, Ms. Ida Franklin Lewis in the Gethsemane Community in Naples, TX. Eddie Mae found her way to New Boston, TX where she met and married Jesse Lee Larry. They moved to Houston, Texas where she permanently made her home. She worked for the Cohen family until her health began to fail. She joined the South Union Baptist church where she served the lord faithfully and worked with the food pantry serving the hungry citizens of her community. By the early 90's, she became the caregiver of her ailing mother until she passed on October 24, 1998. During the last great years of Ms. Eddie's life she reluctantly became a resident of Heavenly Manor assistant living facility. But after a few weeks under the care of Dr. Mia & her caring staff she made it home until her candle became a flicker & she slipped into the arms of our heavily father. Eddie Mae is survived by her family, friends & loved ones.
