In celebration of her life and mourning the loss of our beloved Mother and Grandmother

Ethel Colleen Durham (Mawmaw) passed peacefully surrounded by her family at 91 years of

age in the comfort of her home. She is preceded in death by her parents; W.R. Singleton and

Ludie Kelsoe Singleton. Her three siblings; Robert Singleton, Frances Martin, and Kathy Pike. Her

two late husbands' Darrell Jeffery Gleghorn and Leonard Regan Durham. Her son; Darrell Jeffery

Gleghorn, and two grandsons; Connor James Gleghorn and Christopher Cale Gilley.

Mawmaw was born in Cloud Chief, OK on December 14, 1933, and on August 20, 2025 she went

to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, and those who have gone before her. She is survived by two

children Sherah Jackson of Rockwall, TX, and Stephen Gleghorn of Oak Cliff, TX. As well as her

six grandchildren, Leonard and Madison Jackson of Tampa, FL, Joyann and James King of

Leander, TX, William and Kayla Jackson of Garland, TX, David Gleghorn of Dallas, TX, Crystal and

Robert Crawford of Whitesboro, TX, and Corban and Jennifer Giley of Sherman, TX. Mawmaw

was blessed to be known and remembered by six great-grandchildren, Gabriel King, Willow and

Callan Jackson, Lynette, Riley, and Alexander Crawford, and Danielle and Olivia Gleghorn.

Mawmaw became a maternal figure for countless others throughout her life who will

remember her fondly as a caring soul whose warmth and kindness will inspire us all for years to

come.

Her Celebration of Life will be held on September 13, 2025, at the Rowlett Community Centre

from 1-4pm.
