Glendon Aubrey Baker, born January 22, 1968, in Dallas, Texas, to George Washington Baker, Jr. and the late Georgia Hulene Baker, passed away on September 12, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Glen was the third of five siblings—Patrice, Patrick, Glen, Sandi, and Gerald—affectionately known as the "Baker's Bunch." He was the baby for 5 years before he grungily gave up that title. Raised in Oak Cliff, he attended Dallas ISD schools and later graduated from cosmetology school. He worked as a hairstylist and barber at JCPenney, Paradise Salon, and from home, and held positions as a butcher.

Though Glen had no children of his own, Glen loved his nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends. Glen's children were his many dogs he owned over the years. Bengi (the dog with nine lives), Boobie (the dog he cared for on behalf of a cousin), and his best companion, "Bone" (named for his color) the most loyal of them all. Glen never met a stranger; he was known for his generous spirit. Often opening his home and his parents' home to others, including famously hiding his childhood friend Ricky under his bed for months.

Creative and expressive, Glen had a passion for cars, music, fashion, and comic book art. He was a talented illustrator and collector of Marvel action figures and enjoyed crafting catchy phrases and rhymes. His playful nature often led to humorous sibling moments, especially when lobbying to watch his favorite shows like Wonder Woman and Speed Racer. Glen was the classic middle child, his schemes of blackmail to get his way became legendary in the family.

Glen was raised in the Cherry Valley Church of Christ, now Cedar Valley Church of Christ, where he accepted Christ as a teenager and at one point sang in the choir alongside his mother and sister. In his final days, he reaffirmed his faith and desperately longed for his reunion with his beloved mother.

Glendon is preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Baker. He leaves behind his caring father, George "Bubba" Baker; siblings Patrice (Tony) Jackson, George "Pat" (Donna) Baker, Sandi (Jeff) Grady, and Gerald (Tanya) Baker; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and cherished friends including Eddie, Chester, Ricky, Roy, and Tasha Ann.
