Glenn Williams, known as "Cowboy" was born on November 2, 1952 in Celeste, TX to the parents of S.D. Williams and Mable Smith. He graduated from Celeste High School. Glenn Williams accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member at Redeemed Outreach Ministry until his health failed him. He worked at Supreme Beef for 17 years until they closed down in Ladonia, Texas. He worked at Turner Pipe for 10 years. He also was a mechanic and he broke horses.
Glenn Williams passed on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs, TX surrounded by his family. Glenn Williams generosity, kindness, and good-hearted to others through the years have touched everyone who had the good fortune to know him through the years. Glenn was always ready to lend a hand and help anybody in need. Glenn was the number one chef in the house. He would cook up a storm of food and feed anyone in the community that wanted a plate. He was a jack of all trades. Yes, he will be truly missed. He could clean a house like a woman and could cook like no other.
Glenn loved his family. His favorite scripture was Matthew 6:24 and St. John 1:4. He loved riding horses, fishing and talking about church. He will be truly missed by many who love him and his legacy will continue to live on.
