Reflections of Her Beautiful Life

Gwendolyn affectionately known as Faye was the only biological child of Isaac Rogers and Virgie Mae Birdine Rogers. She attended Douglas High School and graduated in 1965. She joined Franklin Street Church of Christ at an early age. She married Bobby Glen Rockwell, Sr. in 1966 and to this union 6 kids were born. Gwendolyn Faye Rockwell was born 01/26/1947 and left this world 02/14/2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters, Ophelia and Pamela Faye. her sister, Dessie Starling and Brother Eddie Hill.

She leaves to cherish her memories and to celebrate her life: Her only son: Bobby Rockwell Jr of Mt. Pleasant, TX; whom she doted over daily. Three daughters Tina (Keitron) Fountain of Mt. Vernon. TX, Alishia Rockwell of Longview, TX, and Pamela Rockwell of Mt. Pleasant, TX. Sister: Fletcher Jeffery. Grandchildren: Aquayas Rockwell, Taquayas Brown, Camarcus Smith, Tyquerian Rockwell, Wyechia Rockwell, Brashaylia Rockwell, Takeitra Fountain, and Keitron Fountain Jr., and Kedonavon West. Great– Grands Jayceon, Alyzah, and Korey Rockwell, Makhi, Chanlynn, and Levi Brown. Bonus Daughters Shelisa McGill, Antuan ( Dwayne) Martin, Lorene ( Bobby) Mitchell, Niece: Cornyl Norris of Dallas. TX. Special Cousin JT Birdine and Confidants Wanda Payne and Maxine Cook.
