James Edward Skinner was born on April 22, 1942 in Ore City, Texas, the second of thirteen children. He graduated from Duncan Junior High School in the class of 1960. He was employed by Huntington Trucking Company for over 25 years. James Edward is preceded in death by his father, Joe Nathan Skinner, his mother, Theaster Skinner, his daughter, Yvonne Dupree, his siblings, James Lewis Skinner, Robert Lee Skinner, Conwallice Skinner, Betty Jo Skinner, and Jo Nell Skinner. He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Barbara Skinner; son, Arthur Thompson; five sisters, Gloria Blessingale, Mary Brown, Martha Skinner, Alma Skinner, and Glenda Skinner; two brothers, Conathan Skinner and Johnny Skinner; three grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
