Shipley,Jean Audrey (Fichtelman) Jean Audrey Shipley passed away at the age of 92 on December 28th, 2021. Born August 8th, 1929 to Kenneth C Fichtelman and Helen Taylor Fichtelman in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from South High School (Youngstown,Ohio) in 1947 and graduated from "THE" Ohio State University, School of Nursing in 1951 and went on to have a 40+ years in her Nursing career. Jean is preceded in death by her parents Ken and Helen Fichtelman, husband George Shipley, son Timothy Shipley, sister-in-law Sally Thompson, sister-in-law Laura Archeletta, brother-in-law Charles Shipley. Jean is survived by her daughter Jill Shipley, son David Killeen and wife Charlotte, granddaughter Jennifer Killeen, grandson Greg Killeen and wife Amber, great-grandchildren Shane and Kyndal, "Little" brother Richard Fichtelman and wife Kathy, nephew Ken Fichtelman and wife Charlene, nephew Keith Fichtelman and wife Kelly, great nieces Rose and Sophie and great nephew Louie, sister-in-law Leona Shipley, sister-in-law Mary Pederson and husband Dave, brother-in-law Jim Thompson and many nieces, nephews, their families and close family friends. Her ashes will be laid to rest in California at a small private family gathering. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that a donation can be made to the American Diabetes Association or any Dog Rescue Group in her memory.
