Jimmy Len Phillips left this earth to be with his Lord on May 5, 2020. He is preceded in death by his father, William Jackson Phillips, his mother, Martha Helen Hays, and a brother, Michael Stewart. He is survived by 3 brothers and 1 sister, Jack Phillips and Janet Middaugh of Houston, TX, Sam Stewart of Sulphur Springs, TX, and Gerry Stewart of Mt. Pleasant, TX. Jimmy was the youngest of the siblings and was well-loved by all. Everyone will remember Jimmy for his good nature, love of family, and extreme love of fishing. Just say the word and he was loaded up and ready to go to the creek. He enjoyed wood-working and he spent many hours making and selling birdhouses and wood-crafts. He will also be remembered for the wonderful seafood gumbo that his mother shared the secret of making with him. He will be missed.
