Katie Mae Fountain, 65, died 3rd May, 2020 at Willowcreek Nursing Home in Mt. Vernon, Texas. Ms. Fountain was born on 25th April, 1955 in Mt. Vernon, Texas to late Allie Mae Hargraves and Lugene Fountain. At an early age she was in state school and her sister, Nellie Mae Kelly, was her guardian and then to the nursing home upon her death. She was not able to speak or walk but had a lively spirit and pleasant personality. She is survived by 5 Sisters – Helen Bell, Rozetta Deloney, Ozella Fountain, Mamie Doss, and Ethelyn Robertson, 4 Brothers – T C Fountain, L G Fountain, Paul Fountain, and Perry Dunlap Jr.. And several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and several brother and sisters.
