Lisa Denise Mason, 62 of Mount Vernon,Texas passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. She was born June 28, 1963 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Richard and Barbara Mason.

Lisa graduate from Battle Creek Central High School in 1981 and attended Kellogg community college. Where she appeared in several theater productions. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan. After graduation Lisa came back to Battle Creek and worked several jobs, including at WBCK radio station.

She chose to leave Battle Creek for new adventures in North Carolina and South Carolina. Her bright, bubbly personality helped her make friends in many different places. She chose to settle down in Mount Vernon, Texas.

She is survived by her mother, Barbara Mason, her brother Steve and his wife Davy Mason and brother Richard Mason. Her father, Richard Mason Sr. preceded her in death.

Memorial service will be Saturday January 24, 2026. Family hour will be at 10 am followed by the service at 11am. At Second Missionary Baptist Church 485 N. Washington Ave. Battle Creek, Mi 49037
