Maurice Johnson Jr was born on May 15th, 1954, in Dallas Texas and silenced on 10/01/2018. He was the oldest of four children born to the late Maurice Johnson Sr and Ray Evelyn West-Johnson. Maurice was commonly known as Jr by his parents, Una by his siblings, and J R by his associates.
His musical gifts were apparent at an early age where he played the Trumpet in his high school band, South Oak Cliff H.S. Class of 1972. He furthered his education at Lawrence Kansas University and North Texas University.
Maurice was known as a deal maker. He loved real estate and he love seeking out properties. In 1998, he joined Century 21 Future Homes as an Associate Agent. He was given an award as the leading agent in the entire agency. In 2004 he became a Broker and he decided to open his own real estate company, Century 21 Tremont which was located in the Bronx NY. In 2006, he left the franchise and opened, Landview Properties where he operated as an independent broker.
In 2004, after listening to his call, he was accepted at the prestigious, New York Theological Seminary (NYTS) in the degree program. In 2008, he obtained his degree from the seminary and immediately enrolled into the Master's Program. Maurice loved politics and listened to CNN news consistently. This was a fixed station at his home. He loved to discuss politics, listened to political debates, the Dallas Cowboys and the sauna in the gym.
