Mr. Michael Dale Thomas, Sr. was born on April 24, 1966 in Lamar County to the Parentage of the late L.B. and Mary Thomas. He attended Paris schools and graduated from Paris High School. Michael was united in Holy Matrimony to his beautiful, loving wife, Tamara Ricks-Thomas on October 1, 2012 and to this union was born Makell (Tookie). He was a faithful, active member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church until a decline in his health occurred. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, older brother Jimmy Thomas, Sr. and 1 grand-daughter, MaryAnn. Michael loved to ride his Bad Boy; he loved to sing and could be heard at local stores singing the gospel to workers and he loved to cook on his grill, best ribs in town. Michael leaves to cherish his memories: Wife: Tamara Ricks-Thomas of Paris TX; Sons: Michael Thomas, Jr., Justin Thomas, Patrick (Epiphany) Thomas, of San Antonio, TX, Makell Thomas, of Paris TX, bonus –children; Jarmicheal Ricks, of Clarksville TX, and Sammara Ricks of Dallas, TX; 19+ grandchildren. Godchildren: Shamonda Johnson and Braylon Johnson. Sisters: Debra Gray of Paris, TX, Linda Thomas-Walker of Arlington, TX and Arlene Thomas, of Lancaster, TX, God Sisters: Maria (Terry) Wilkins of Ft. Towson, OK, Cynthia Hutson, of Paris TX. BFF: Regina Perry of Paris TX. Brother: Paul (Indria) Thomas of Lancaster, TX, God brothers: Robert (Cora) Edwards, of Tyler TX, Robert (Linda) Hicks, of Paris, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
