Larry N. Williams was a radiant light, beloved father, brother, friend and an
inspiration to millions. He departed this life peacefully on October 16, 2025. Larry
was surrounded by his devoted family, cherished friends during his final
moments.
Larry was born on August 2, 1963, in Maud, TX. Larry is a proud graduate of Texas
Senior High School Class of 1981. Throughout his life, Larry held various professional roles.
He was employed by Rose Hill Community News, May Jewell Patterson Floral Shop, Cooper Tire, St. Michael's Hospital, Haynes Mortuary, JC White Funeral & Cremation Services but his passion was singing lead for many choirs and groups.
Minster Larry Williams served in various auxiliaries at Tower of Power Gospel Ministers, as
Assistant Youth Minister, Communion Steward, Choral Ensemble,
Brotherhood and would often lend a hand with food distribution. He also served
as a member of several singing groups, Psalms, Texarkana Gospel Music Workshop of America, and Workshop of Texarkana.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Willie Williams Jr, Pearl
A. Cooper-Williams, and his brother William David Cooper.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children Jayden Williams and Levi
Williams, his devoted siblings Tracy Cooper (Cassandra Cooper), Regina
Burton (Gilbert Burton), Glenda Williams-Davis (Devin Davis), Marylin
Cooper, Rutha James, Gary Cooper (Shelia Cooper) and host of family and friends.
