Mother Eva Jo Barron

Eva Jo Barron was born March 14,1945 to the late Katherine and Henery B. Henderson Sr., in Wells Point, Texas.

Eva grew up in Plainview, Texas where she attended school at Booker T Washington. Mrs. Barron later became an environmental housekeeper at SMU, before continuing her career at Parkland, where she retired.

In the late 60's, she moved to Dallas, Texas, where she met and Married George Alex Barron, who preceded her in death in 2005.

Eva was a member of Green Way Park COGIC where she served faithfully as a member under the late Rev. R.L. Finney.

Early Tuesday morning, August 29th, Eva gained her wings and transitioned from this terrestrial limitations of this earthly tabernacle to her eternal home.

Eva was preceded in death by her loving parents, Katherine and Henery B. Henderson Sr.; Sister, Camilla Jean, Laura Ratcliff, Adell Caraway, Dorothy Nell Carter; Brother, Willie Henderson, Henery B. Henderson Jr.; Son: Ronald Lee Cooks

She leaves behind to cherish her memories; her daughters, Shelia Harold, Michelle Tume, and Mary Acy; Son in law, Kenneth Harold; her sister, Ruby Nell Johnson and brother Robert Earl Henderson; her granddaughters, Precious Baptiste, Marquisa Baptiste, Jacole Clark, Ava Thompson, Jerrica Thompson, Larmanda Brookins, Grace Acy, Eva Conway, Roneshia Conway, Nieshia Conway, Shauntae Conway; grandsons, Kevian Henderson, Jerry Thompson, Jerry Brookins, Donavan Acy, Ronald Cooks Jr. Eva has 26 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and a host of niece, nephews and friends whom she loved dearly.
