Neal Jones Jr. was born October 19, 1936 in Mt. Pleasant, Tx to parentage of the late Eula Hardge and Neal Jones Sr. Neal attended Booker T. Washington for school. He was married to Retter Mae Jones and from this union 2 children were born, Roxanne and Rodney. He worked hard at Long Star Steal for 30 years and then retired to enjoy his passion of farming. He raised many cattle, horses, and a mule. He absolutely loved animals especially his latest dogs Ruth and Squat (who wouldn't let anyone get neat him). He also loved children, and every child he came in contact with he automatically became their papa too(Desmond, Dj, Khloe, Kamariyah, Makhi, Natalia). Neals truly lived a blessed and fulfilled life. Neals death came on December 19, 2021. He will be missed by many who love him and his legacy will be carried on throughout the years to come. Neal leaves behind 4 children, daughter Roxanne Jordan & her husband Robert, son Rodney Jones & his wife Debbie, daughter Rose Mary Fields, and son Rayford Wilkerson; 6 grandchildren, Chastoni Jones & wife Tro, Angel Jordan, Dakota Porter, Rashinique Golston, Dominique Spigner & her husband Michael, and Sedrick Hines; 2 great-grandchildren Makayla and Maci Spigner; 1 sibling, sister Clemmie Mcgill of California; his dearest niece and nephew Dentra Cobb and Kenneth Lewis; and dearest cousin Ed Hodge; and a host of other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a host of other relatives, and friends. Neal is preceded in death by his parents Eula Hodge and Neal Jones Sr.; siblings sisters Frances Goodloe, Emma Jones, Rose Helen Jones, and Virginia Lewis, and brother Clarence Jones; 1 daughter Robbie Golston; and 1 grandson Kendred Jeffrey.
