Netta McGill was born one of 11 children, to Helen Nixon and Willie Nixon, Jr., in Dallas, TX, on February 13, 1962. She departed this life on April 6, 2024.

She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School and shortly after received her cosmetology license following a nursing degree and her bails bonding certificate. She was a very smart, intelligent woman who sought nothing but greatness.

Netta was preceded in death by her mother; Helen Nixon, three brothers; Marcus, Darin, and Patrick Nixon; Granddaughter Tyzana McGill and Grandson, Faren McGill.

She leaves to cherish her memories and to celebrate her life: her husband of 30 years, Willie McGill, Sr. of Mt. Pleasant, TX; 4 daughters; Precious, Jaquerd, Icess and Brittnei; 6 sons, Willie D (Cearra) McGill, Issac, Isaiah, Tyrus E., Jeremy and Willie Glen McGill, Jr.; 11 grandchildren; Parys, Donald Ray, Jr., Destiny, Eliyah, Brooklyn, Thykiya, Deion McGill, Isaiah, Jr., Ariyah and Ozyah; brothers; Corey D Chris, Brian (Stacy) Nixon, Micheal C., Robert J, Rodrick (Annette) Nixon, Willis (Melanie) Nixon, Dwight (Joann) Nixon, 1 sister; Traci Nixon and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
