Nicole Yodanna
Johnson
Jul 25, 1969 — Oct 2, 2022
Beloved Daughter & Sister
Ms. Nicole Yadonna Johnson, affectionately known as "Cole" or "Coley Cole," daughter of the late Mr. Willie Nell Johnson and Ms. Doris Jean Johnson, was born in Mt. Pleasant, Texas on July 25, 1969. Nicole graduated from Pittsburg High School in Pittsburg, Texas with the Class of 1988. Nicole furthered her education by attending Kilgore College, in Kilgore Texas.
She received Christ at an early age and united with Faith Temple Church of God in Christ of Pittsburg, Texas. After relocating to further her education, she united with Faith Temple Church of God in Christ in Kilgore, Texas.
From her childhood, Nicole exhibited an excitement for enjoying life. Whether it was spending time with family and friends, participating in church services, traveling, shopping, attending sporting events or cheering on her beloved Green Bay Packers, Nicole could always be found living her best life.
Nicole was beautiful, kind, loving, giving and she was truly the life of the party. But she also didn't mind giving you a "piece of her mind." There is a long list of people that can attest to the fact that Nicole called and fussed at them about something, but by the time she finished fussing, you were both laughing, and you knew it was all out of love.
Nicole loved the Lord and loved serving His people. She was a faithful member of her church where she served in areas, such as the Choir, Usher Ministry, Hospitality Committee, and any other capacity as she was needed.
Nicole had a heart for all people, but she truly loved working with the elderly and children. While in living in Kilgore, for over two decades, she worked in Hospitality Services, where she served the elderly community. In more recent years, she worked as a Bus Monitor for the Pittsburg Independent School District, until her health failed her.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving, loyal, and devoted mother, Ms. Doris Jean Johnson of Pine Bluff, AR; one uncle, Richard Rhymes (Earma) of Pittsburg, Texas; two aunts Juanita Dollison of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; Virginia Harris of Texarkana, Arkansas; a host of loving cousins, relatives, and friends; and her children, Smokey Johnson (Diana) (her dogs).
