Ray Anthony Johnson, affectionately known as "Harvey", "I E" and "Reject" was born the son of the late Maurice Johnson Sr. and Ray Evelyn Johnson was born in Dallas Texas on July 29th, 1958.

Harvey graduated from David W. Carter High School in 1976 and later joined the Military and served in the US Army and discharged honorable.

Harvey was an Entrepreneur before his health failed him. The famous breakfast, not to mention the homemade hamburgers and the ice cream truck that allowed his passion to flow free to serve so many people, he loved gardening, enjoyed fishing and loved children. Growing up his job was to find the right sticks to start Momma's grill. He was an avid lover of dogs and cats and was the best trainer.

Harvey always kept us laughing about something he was very hilarious.

His Church affiliations, Pages Temple COGIC, Mitchell Street COGIC, Greater El Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, and Egypt Chapel Baptist Church where he played the drums.

On Thursday March 9, 2023 God decided he needed a Drummer in heaven. Harvey graciously accepted the assignment and answered the call.

Harvey leaves to cherish his memory: 2 devoted sisters, Vickie Johnson Robinson and Cindy Johnson. 2 sons, Nicklus Brown and Antoine Johnson, 2 Daughters, Ray Evelyn Brown and Jatwuna Johnson. 6 Grandchildren, Leonard Ray Brown, Lila Ray Brown, Aayanna L. Johnson, Sasha L. Johnson, London K. Sands and Sanna Nadia Johnson. 2 neice's, Nicole Lee and Reyna Sanchez 2 nephews, Andre Coleman and Ruben McCray.
