It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing o Rocky Villareal of Mt. Pleasant, TX on August 21st at the age of 41 years in Tyler, TX.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Frankie and Olivia Villareal; parents, Alfredo Villarreal and Josie Villarreal; sister, Cristina Villarreal-Mata; brother-in-law, Benito Mata; niece and nephews, Alexis, Benito Jr., and Cruz Mata; step-sister, Yaretzi; his children's mother, Ida Mae Villarreal-Duffee, as well as numerous relatives, friends and fraternity brothers.
Rocky was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Francisca Gaytan; paternal grandparents, Socorro and Felipe Villarreal and uncle, Oscar Villarreal.
He enjoyed spending time with his family as they mean the world to him. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School and was very proud to be a Tiger. After graduation, he attended Texas Tech where he pledged Alpha Chapter of Omega Delta Phi. Rocky was proud to be a Red Raider and part of his fraternity. He later attended Texas A&M Commerce and Northeast Texas Community College. He easily made friends with everyone he met. He managed to create memories with so many people and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations in memory of him may be made to GoFundMe for Cristina Villarreal-Mata, for he loved his sister.
