Mrs Rosa Nell Wright, daughter of the late Oliver Palmer Sr. and Ethel Williams was born on February 7, 1939 in Upshur County, Texas. She accepted Christ at a early age and became a member of the Lake Providence Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Frederick Douglas High School in 1958. She meet and married Willie J. Curlin Sr, in December 1958. They were married for twelve years and was blessed with two children, Patrica A. Duffie and Willie J. Curlin Jr. She joined Pine Bluff First baptist church where she served faithfully until she married the love of her life Sgt. Artie Lee Wright on April 28, 1972 and moved to Ft. Leonard Wood , MO Her service to the Lord continued in 1975 when she joined St. Robert First Baptist Church, in St. Robert, MO. Where she served diligently as a Sunday School Teacher, Choir member,Budget Finance Committee member, WMU member, Food Service Committee Supervisor and a host of other duties and services to her church family and her community for 39 years. She also worked for EDP Enterprises for 18 years as 1 st and 2nd cook for our military service men and women. She was a friend to everyone she met and did her utmost to make you feel special, She spend her life caring for people in need until her illness no longer allowed her to serve. Her words to live by were " Always put God first and Family second and help somebody along the way" She departed this life Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Chistus Mother Frances in Tyler, Tx. She was preceded in death by her loving husband { Artie Wright}, Father and Mother, Two sisters , Ruby Lee Davis and Floy Jean Johnson. A brother George Dotson Johnson. She leaves to mourn her passing her two children, Patricia A. Duffie {Howard} of Pittsburg, Tx and Willie J. Curlin Jr { Barbara } of Atlanta, Ga; A Special Daughter Anglea Johnson of Pittsburg, Tx, Special Son Willis Jackson of Waynesville, M. Stepmother : Mrs. Catherine Palmer, Her siblings, BROTHERS:Rev. Oliver Palmer Jr, {Delores}, Rev. J.D. Palmer {Annie}, Vernon Abron {Debra}, SISTERS: Pearlia Walker, Annie Bratton, Brenda Reese {Carl}, Pasty Bethea {Cal}, Christelle Potter. Grandchildren: La'Tia Ivory-Williams { Orlando}, Samondria Ivory, Keaunda Ivory, Anthony King {Jennifer}, Tamika Curlin, Katrinia Harris, and Shayla Curlin. Greatgrands, Caleb Williams, Xavion Williams, Laiani Williams, Ahijah Ivory, Noel King , Giovanni King, Cearria Smith, Anthony Brown and Jabarri Harris.
