Shanndolyn Genae Morrow was born on July 26, 1980, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, to the late Stan Morrow and Lillie Woods-Morrow. From the very beginning, she filled the world with her laughter, kindness, and light. She was baptized at an early age.

Shanndolyn grew up in Daingerfield, Texas, where she formed lifelong friendships. She graduated from Daingerfield High School (Class of 1998) and later became a certified nursing assistant and caregiver.

She cared deeply for those around her, always ensuring that her loved ones were cared for, fed, and supported—often before tending to her own needs. She devoted her life to serving others, but her proudest roles were being a mother, daughter, sister, and friend.

On August 6, 2025, Shanndolyn was called home by God, finding peace and rest. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her beloved son, Jaxon Covington; devoted siblings, Shunndolyn (Eric) Crichlow, Shanealdolyn (Michael II) Wooten, and Kayden Montgomery; her favorite nephew, Michael Wooten III; loving godmother, Regina (Douglas) Kelly; god-siblings, Angela Ransom, Larry Douglas, and Steven Douglas; and many cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.

Her love, laughter, and spirit will remain forever in our hearts.
