"Everything You Touch Is a Song" *The Life Song of Superintendent Charles Edward Craig INTRO OF LIFE SONG: Charles Edward Craig was birthed into the earthly dimension in Dallas, Texas, on November 10, 1947, to parents Superintendent Aldie C. Craig and Mother Irene Craig.

VERSE ONE: The young boy Charles spent hours in the backyard creating mud cities that he populated with broken toys that he mended in his childish way. The 6th child of 9 siblings, he was notorious about trying to boss the others around.

VERSE TWO: The teenage Charles idolized his pastor/father Eld. A.C. Craig and loved to go with him to his churches at that time, Rose of Sharon in Greenville TX and Smith Chapel in Palestine TX. Although devoted to church, Charles also enjoyed camaraderie with his unsaved High School friends and stopped confessing salvation. This verse culminated in his senior year of school, as he was riding a bus from work one night and conviction hit him! He stopped the bus as it passed Pages Temple C.O.G.I.C. and rushed inside as Pastor T.D. Daniels was about to dismiss. Charles rushed down to the altar, and Pastor Daniels paused dismissal to ask him what he wanted, to which Charles apologized "I want to be saved and it won't take long." That began a new verse.

VERSE THREE: The reclaimed senior student made up for lost time by starting an after-school prayer meeting at Lincoln High School in Dallas where students began receiving salvation. After graduation he entered Junior College, but this was interrupted by an Army call to the draft. His assignment to Viet Nam was divinely intercepted, and he was sent to Germany instead. Arriving in Germany on fire, he was frustrated that no Churches of God in Christ were on his base, so he obtained permission to start C.O.G.I.C. services, which he did in seven different German cities such as Frankford. He left fellow soldier ministers to carry on at his discharge, and most of those churches exist even today, some having grown to become C.O.G.I.C. Jurisdictions.VERSE FOUR: Upon discharge in 1971, Elder Craig returned to Dallas where his mother Sis. Irene Craig had recently "prayed out" a fledgling mission. Supt. A.C. Craig gave him the assignment of the Macedonia mission church as pastor. During the same stanza, the 23-year-old Elder Craig met Janice Iglehart at St. Andrews C.O.G.I.C in Denton, Texas at a service.

VERSE FIVE: In 1974 at the wedding of Charles and Janice in San Antonio, TX, the audience laughed when the officiant Bishop T.D. Iglehart pronounced a blessing overthe bride and groom, saying "Lord bless them with many, many, many, many, many, many children." This proved to be a rhema word rather than humorous rhetoric. Charles and Janice became soulmates in life and ministry, birthing nine "Craiglets" over their marriage song.As they worked together in ministry, the Macedonia Church burgeoned. After preaching a "Faith" message series every Sunday for a year Pastor Craig declared that the church was no longer a "Macedonian" ministry asking for help. He decreed to the church that "We're not hereasking

help, but rather WE HAVE NOW COME TO HELP." He proclaimed a new name for the ministry as "Faith Kingdom Church of God in Christ.

"VERSE SIX: Pastor Craig, known as a man's man, specifically prayed for men to be added to the Faith Kingdom body and God did. The membership consistently included dozens of men and entire families. Pastor Craig trained his church in tent revivals, street ministry, Salvation Army, nursing home visitation, prison ministry and witnessing. Consequently, Faith Kingdom developed outstanding preachers, evangelists, missionaries, pastors, and even Superintendents. He established a community footprint via the A.C. Craig Resource Center which hosted several community projects. CHORUS: Pastor Craig received several elevations in Texas Northeast First Jurisdiction under Bishop J. Neaul Haynes, including Superintendent of the Bonner Hill District, Missions President and Jurisdictional Secretary. His personal influence enabled him to establish a monthly 5:00 A.M. Pastoral Prayer Fellowship comprised of almost a dozen jurisdictional Pastors. BRIDGE: In 2015, almost as a premonition, Pastor Craig rehearsed I Peter 5:10 all year with his church family: "But the God of all grace who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you." On September 20th, 2015, he was overwhelmed by a sudden catastrophic illness. LIFE SONG OUTRO: Mark 12:27"He [God] is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living. "On November 6, 2024, God kissed Supt. Craig and withdrew the breath of life given him almost 77 years ago for his earthly stanzas. Charles' spirit returned home to the Father of Lights in the invisible Glory dimension among the Glorious cloud of witnesses. Continuing Supt. Craig's earthly legacy are his soulmate in life and ministry, Janice, and their children: Gazelle, Charlton (Vertisha), Ian, Gabrielle, Ari Sr. (Victoria), Efrem (Jessica) Micah Sr. (Rahel), Adrian, and Derest. Also cherishing his life song, he leaves his sisters, Lillian Cook and Carol Craig, 7 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, nieces and nephews, cousins, and a host of extended family. He leaves his ministry charge to his innumerable spiritual sons and daughters near and far, birthed through the Faith Kingdom church family
