A native of Troup, Texas, Virtha "Dick" Williams was born on June 1, 1939 to Money Virtha "M.V" and Lillie Mae Williams. Virtha was a natural protector of his family members and provided for his family as a welder. Most importantly, he made a great impact in the lives of many through his preaching ministry, after being miraculously healed from a brain tumor in earlier years. He passed away in Arlington, Texas on September 1, 2020 and was preceded in death by his mother Lillie Mae Williams, his father M.V. Williams, sister Joyce Marie Geter and brother Willis Vanderbilt Williams. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children LaShunn Williams, Gregory Williams, Tanisha Baylor, and Corlysia "Keke" Mitchell (Erich); former spouse Maudell Williams, siblings Ardelia Polk, Annette Williams, Leron Williams (Emerlene), Barbara Wright (Eddie), Lillie Young (Billy), Gloria Williams, Michael Wayne Williams (Twana), 9 grandkids, 8 great-grandkids, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
