Whalyn Sue Craddock Payne of Mount Pleasant Texas affectionately known as "WhaWha" to her grandchildren was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She went home to her Lord on June 8, 2023 at the age of 70.

She was born on December 13, 1952 in Pittsburg Texas to Elizabeth Spencer and Wiley Craddock.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Dwight. Daughters and Son in Loves: Gaylon Payne, Dhelcetia Martin, Monica (Rick)Payne-Caldwell, Hanaiya (Brandon)Payne-Johnson. Grandchild: Ayana Payne, Maurice Brown II, Renaibra Caldwell, Ricky Caldwell, Aaliyah Johnson, Aubrey Aranha, Mekhilyn Payne, Ariana Aranha, Nyla Caldwell, Chaston Payne, Arnold Aranha, Bria Johnson, Ross Johnson. God Daughter: Beverly (Danny) Grant. God Son: Tarran (Charla) Wooden. Sisters and brother in laws: Laura (Jimmy) Newton, Yvette (Marco) Ragins, Tracy (Sadie)McGill, Vida Michelle Craddock. A very loving Aunt Dorothy Taylor and loving Uncle Lewis Spencer. A very special great nephew Alexander McFarland and special niece Kimberly Judson, Special Cousin Pastor Johnny Morris Brooks, Honorary Granddaughter McKenzie Ivory. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Special friends Martha Ann Williams, Palestine Howie, The Hall Family, Barbara Jackson and Lois King. As well as her classmates.

She also leaves to cherish her memory her sisters in love and brothers in love Mary Florence, Juanita Payne, Florence Brannon, Gloria (James)Simmons, Cynthia (Daniel) Thorpe, Florence (Gordon) Bain.

She was proceeded in death by her Mother Elizabeth Spencer McGill, Father Wylie Craddock, bonus dad Billy Joe McGill, Grandparents Ophelia Spencer, Napolean Spencer, Wylie Craddock Sr., Lena Craddock, brothers Glenny Joe McGill, Angelo McGill, Bernard McGill, and sister Billie Gail McFarland.

Whalyn will be missed by all for her contagious laughter, beautiful smile, and sense of fashion that would light up every room she entered.
